DENISE MERIDITH CONSULTANTS INC (DMCI) is a certified MBE/DBE firm, which specializes in community and public relations. DMCI helps organizations get and stay connected to clients, customers and the community. Denise Meridith, the CEO/President, has a long, successful career in public, private and non-profit sectors, with special emphasis on lands, recreation, tourism & hospitality.

Business Development

  • Development of strategies to initiate and grow businesses
  • Assisting new organizations or companies expanding into new geographic (particularly the Southwestern US) areas or new product/service fields
  • Encouraging organizations to improve productivity by enhancing the wellness of their employees through vacation benefit planning, health benefit plans, etc.
  • Training, especially in the areas of leadership, ethnic marketing, valuing diversity in-house, recruitment, paperwork/file management, crisis management, transition and change management, recreation,  land use planning, environmental issues, and customer service
  • Corporate and leisure travel consulting

 

Community relations

  • Establishing relationships and partnerships among public, private and non-profit groups

  • CEO has served on various Boards and Committees involved in recruitment of minority conventions to Phoenix, recruitment of minority businesses and businesspeople to the Valley and development of minority businesses in Arizona
  • DMCI had the community outreach contract at Sky Harbor Airport for 2 years.

Lobbying, Marketing, Public relations and Education

  • Through partnership with other firms, provides assistance in development of brands and logos, brochures, direct mail and cable television commercials
  • Writes columns and articles in newspapers and magazines re: customer service, corporate and small business concerns, management challenges, diversity issues and travel, recreation and tourism (e.g., regular bi-monthly insert in Phoenix Business Journal)
  • Organizing public meetings, seminars and conferences, particularly for women’s and minority groups, and small businesses;
  • Has taught classes at WIU, ASU and other colleges & universities.
